Well-Being Days - A Day of Relaxation and Renewal

Our recent Well-Being Day was a wonderful opportunity for attendees to step away from their busy lives and focus on their health and happiness.

The day features a variety of rejuvenating workshops, including yoga and meditation sessions, sound baths and drumming, that leave participants feeling refreshed and grounded. Inspiring talks on stress management and self-care provided practical tools for mental and emotional well-being, while pampering treatments like mini-massages and aromatherapy offered moments of pure relaxation.

Guests also enjoyed delicious, healthy refreshments and connected with like-minded individuals in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our well-being day are truly uplifting, leaving everyone recharged, inspired, and ready to embrace a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

Forest School for Adults - well-being in nature

The adult forest school retreat day offers a refreshing escape into nature, fostering personal growth, creativity, and relaxation. Participants engage in a variety of activities, including bushcraft skills, mindfulness talks, and nature-inspired crafts.The day encourages connection with the natural environment while promoting mental clarity and reducing stress. The groups enjoy a mix of discussions around the campfire, hands-on activities like shelter building and foraging, and moments of quiet reflection in the woods.

The retreat provides a perfect balance of learning, relaxation, and connection, leaving everyone feeling grounded, inspired, and re-energised.

Five Steps to Reclaiming You

Our online course for mindfulness and overall mind health. Identifying and removing self-limiting beliefs and looking at practical and achievable ways to enhance your ability to self-love. This course is designed to challenge and support those taking part while looking at ways to improve their own self-care and reach their full potential.​

Afternoon Tea Dance

We had a wonderful afternoon tea and tea dance at St Aidan’s Church, which was advertised on local radio. Our beautiful food was provided by the incredible Good Grub Club and the afternoon included, paper Cathedral origami, chair yoga and line dancing!

 

Free Family fun day

Our free family wellbeing event at Norris Green Youth Centre was a huge success, with over one hundred families attending. Workshops on the day included, children’s yoga & adult yoga, massage, reflexology & reiki. stone designing, cookery workshop and lots of craft stalls.

 

Flower arranging workshops with Maria

The incredibly talented Maria showcases some of her simplest but effective flower arranging designs for participants to follow and create their own unique designs. Her step by step approach has led to some wonderful end results. These sessions reduce social isolation and we see people returning each time keen to see new friends and bringing along other members of the community.

 

Art clubs

Outstanding Artist Melanie Beswick delivers her age appropriate workshops over a six week period to teach adults and children new painting techniques. Our budding artists are provided with a free resource pack so anyone can take part. Check out some of our art in our photographs page.

 

Online and face-to-face yoga

Our beginners level yoga is offered every week to the community. We have been delivering online following the Covid pandemic and feedback requested us to continue for those members of the community who found it difficult to get out to a class, or who feel more comfortable at home. Sessions are delivered over zoom and facebook live to help reduce any feelings of isolation and allowing members to communicate within the groups.

Family wellbeing events in school

Following our in-school projects. Parents are invited in to take part in a workshop showcasing all the skills the children have learned over the six week half term. Children particularly enjoy sharing the massage skills they have learned. These sessions are always well attend and in one school we had to offer the session on two consecutive nights because of the sign ups!

 

6 week wellbeing programme

Our six week wellbeing programmes are offered to community groups and corporate staff. We run a coffee morning followed by reiki or massage treatments. Allowing people to socialise over the coffee morning and then receive a relaxing and rejuvenating treatment each week to improve their overall wellbeing and communications between staff and community members within different settings.
